Monthly Update for May 2026 for the Witton & Rudheath Ward

Anti-Social Behaviour

Two reports of a vehicle driving around the area and the occupants throwing eggs and flour at people.

Two reports of youths throwing stones at properties on Danefield Road.

Burglary

No reports received.

Theft

No reports received.

Road Safety

Vehicle stop check on Middlewich Road the driver provided a positive drugs wipe and was arrested.

Vehicle stop check on A556 the driver provided a positive drugs wipe and arrested.

Speed Enforcement conducted on Griffiths Road, no offences were captured whilst at the location.

Parking/highway Obstructions

Report of vehicles obstructing the footpath on James Street. Regular patrols and appropriate action taken when necessary.

Weekly Police Surgeries

Saturday 27th June, at The Venue, Gadbrook Road, Rudheath between 11am – 12pm.

Thursday 2nd July, on Hulme Lane, Lower Peover between 3pm – 4pm. A Police Vehicle will be parked near to The Country Store.

Wednesday 8th July, at Costa Coffee, Cheshire Avenue, Lostock Gralam between 1pm – 2pm.

Tuesday 14th July, at The Venue, Gadbrook Road, Rudheath between 11am – 12pm.

Friday 24th July, on Princess Road, Allostock. A Police Vehicle will be parked near to the play area.
